As near as I can tell from looking into her family SM she hasn't been seen or heard from since September 15th. There is also a photo and the name of man being passed around with an active arrest warrant from PA State Police but it is unclear if the warrant has anything to do with Leah's disappearance. However, this seems to be the person that needs to be found if they don't find Leah and/or her car first.

Her sister has the last sighting at the Mt Pleasant Wal Mart at 2pm. Apparently Leah was with a guy who was driving her vehicle - the sister knows nothing about him.

I am from Fayette County and have been keeping up with Leah's disappearance also, I know they have been posting suggestions as to where they could possibly find the missing vehicle, and were out searching all day yesterday, with no luck. I also hope that they find her safe, I can't imagine what her family is going through.

Owens was last seen at about 6:30 p.m. Sept. 17 and was reported missing by her mother, state police in Uniontown said.

Her maroon Ford Escape has been located, but police declined to reveal the location where they found it.

“One day you have a lead and you think that things are going to work out, and the next you see that information didn't come through," said Lauren Solosky, Owens' sister. "If this was your loved one, you would want someone to give you answers and that's really all we're looking for.”

Owens is 5 feet 7 inches tall and 135 pounds, with green eyes and black hair. Police said she was last seen wearing a peach-colored hooded sweatshirt and blue shorts.

The woman's family is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to finding her.

"Whether this situation was accidental or whatever may have been involved in her disappearance, we are willing to work with whoever and whatever means necessary to get her back,” Solosky said.
