(MSNBC) Did Paula Abdul get two hotel workers fired when they were trying to be helpful?

That’s what they’re telling a Las Vegas newspaper. Carol Good and Damon Rosa were working the overnight shift on Jan. 2 at the Silverton hotel and casino in Las Vegas when Paula Abdul called the front desk at about 6 a.m., wanting to change a 7:40 a.m. flight, they say.

Good adds that although her shift was ending, she stayed to help Rosa because of the New Year’s rush of guests checking out. “I stayed over and printed out the flight schedules,” Good told the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “I then took the flight schedules to [Rosa].”

Wow, a story about Paula right before American Idol starts :p

MSN is an NBC affiliate. I hadn't heard this story anywhere else. Though I don't doubt it, I would say that it's time to start trashing Paula again before the American Idol ratings start tearing down the competition on the other networks.

Paula can be a cold-hearted snake I've heard....

I think both hotel employee's should receive compensation from the hotel and Abdul. Its not their job or responsibility to take care of her flight plans. After this I will make sure I avoid anything she's associated with.

I certainly will avoid anything that profits her. Who does she think she is? This is deplorable.

I like Paula and I like American Idol. I think I will wait and see how this plays out.

That's exactly what they wanted people to do ... get you to avoid anything she has to do with. Had it been substantiated as fact that the story is true or is it tabloid gossip?

Everyone knows American idol is one of the most popular shows? I still think this is an NBC ploy to squash ratings.

I had to stop watching "AI" last night b/c of Simon, he is setting a new low this season for being cruel...and now this about Paula. Does Paula not realize that, if not for "AI", she'd be a washed-up singer?
