TWO DRUNK DRIVERS TO BLAME IN A CRASH THAT KILLED A 7-YEAR-OLD BOY
Sheriff's deputies are blaming two drunk drivers for a crash that killed a 7-year-old boy.
A witness says Kellie Mitchell got into a fight with someone near Camino de Oeste and Irvington on Sunday night. Then, she got into her SUV and took off.
Her four children were in the car with her.
Investigators say Mitchell then ran a stop sign and slammed into a pick-up truck.
The crash killed her 7-year-old son.
Deputies say the driver of the pick-up was also drunk ... and had her six-month-old baby in the truck.
Charges are pending against both drivers.

They are selfish and only think about themselves. That's what's wrong with people.

Unbelievable. Makes you wonder just how many drunk people are out driving around at any given time. Here's the thing about that... If you drive drunk, you not only risk your life, but anyone's life who happens to pass you on the road. But when you put your children in the car with you, and you're drunk, you should be locked up JUST for that. Now, if you kill one of your children while driving them around drunk, you just DO NOT PASS GO, they should walk you straight to the death chamber. Some people just dont deserve the same oxygen as others.

From December 2006:
A local woman is living the nightmare of facing three years in prison after causing a drunken driving crash that killed her 7-year-old son.
Pima County Superior Court Judge Frank Dawley on Monday sentenced Kellie Cherrie Mitchell Cameron, 29, to the minimum prison term plus seven years’ probation.
