CONNEAUT, Ohio (AP) – Authorities say they are searching for a man accused of raping and killing a 13-month-old in northeast Ohio.

Conneaut Law Director Kyle Smith said Friday that his office filed charges of aggravated murder and rape against Joshua Gurto in the death of Sereniti Jazzlynn-Sky Blankenship-Sutley. Smith said an arrest warrant was issued for the 37-year-old Conneaut man.

CONNEAUT, Ohio -- A reward is now being offered for information leading to the arrest of a man wanted in the rape and murder of a 13-month-old girl.

Sereniti Jazzlynn-Sky Blankenship-Sutley, 13 months, died after being found Oct. 7 with blunt force trauma to the head and trunk. She was to be laid to rest Monday.

The Conneaut Law Director's Office filed charges and obtained an arrest warrant for Joshua Dale Gurto, 37, in Sereniti's murder and rape. He is believed to be the boyfriend of the baby's mother.

Only way I heard of this is when I was in the area and read the star beacon newspaper.
None of my local channels have even flashed his photo.
I can't understand why this is not all over the news.
He looks very creepy and now the rape and murder of a year old baby.
 
Joshua Gurto was born in 1979. Joshua currently lives in Port Huron . Before that, he lived in Port Huron , MI in 2009.
Married?? 2 kids ??. age 37 also lived in Pierpont OH, Conneaut OH, Kimball MI, Hopkinsville KY.........

CONNEAUT- The U.S. Marshal's Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is asking for help identifying an unknown male. The man is believed to be traveling with wanted fugitive, Joshua Gurto.

Gurto is 5'10" and weighs 145 pounds. He has a deformed right ear and misaligned jaw. He also has tattoos on his right forearm. Gurto has ties to Ashtabula County and western Pennsylvania.

Police went to a Clark Street apartment about 5 a.m. for a report of an unresponsive child. Serenti was found in her mother's arms who screamed, "Help my baby."

Oh Lord please help LE to locate this scum. That sweet angel with the smile for days did not deserve to die.

The Northern Ohio fugitive task force has eliminated dozens of leads in the search. They believe he was last spotted in the Pittsburgh area.
