The family is offering a $1,000 reward. Anyone with information should call police.

Ralph Tinsley's son says he's already gone through three tanks of gas searching for his father. Friends and family say they're doing whatever they can to find him.

Loved ones say Ralph Tinsley left this Mount Vernon neighborhood while his wife was sleeping. He didn't take his cellphone or his hearing aid or his medicine--just the car keys, the car and his wallet.

A Silver Alert is posted on electronic boards statewide.

Ralph Tinsley's children have called all the local hospitals. They've checked his bank account for any activity. Nothing.

[h=1]Body of missing Mount Vernon man found[/h]
The body of a Mount Vernon man missing since last week was found Tuesday on a utility road in the 26000 block of Walker Valley Road east of Big Lake.
A statewide "Silver Alert" was activated for Tinsley, who police previously said may have attempted to drive to California.

However, a state Department of Natural Resources employee found Tinsley's damaged vehicle on the remote road, Booth said.

Tinsley's body was located near the vehicle, Booth said.

There are no signs of foul play, he said.

It isn't known how long Tinsley had been at that location, Booth said.

A utility worker noticed the damaged vehicle on Monday, Booth said, but assumed it was abandoned.
