"A bag of human remains" wrapped in a tarp has been found in North Side Flint. An autopsy has occured and police believe they know who the man is, and he went missing a year ago. They are awaiting dental record confirmation because of the condition of the remains.

The skeletal remains of a body wrapped in tarp and found by Flint police Thursday afternoon behind an abandoned house on Humboldt Avenue belonged to a man who'd been hit by gunfire, an investigator said Monday.

Police said they are awaiting a comparison of dental records with a onetime state prison inmate, and were looking into the case of a Flint man who apparently went missing last summer.

Just going thru old treads on here that havent been updated in awhile...

I do not see a NamUs or Doe Network profile... case closed? or just not listed? I am assuming its closed but cant find an article to confirm.
