Dad charged after police say investigation revealed more than human remains at Lenexa storage unit
The new details follow information that police found human remains in a storage shed Tuesday evening. Officers were called there just before 7 p.m. That's when they found Justin Rey and his two infants.

Rey is charged in Johnson County with two counts of endangering a child and two counts of contributing to a child's misconduct.
Police say they'd been staying in the storage unit and the babies didn't have any food, diapers, or a place to sleep. Police would not answer questions about Rey, his wife Jessica or her whereabouts, or the children.

LENEXA, KS (KCTV) - A death investigation is underway after human remains were found in a Lenexa storage unit.
A little before 7 p.m. Tuesday, police were called to check on some people who had been sleeping in a storage unit at the U-Haul Moving & Storage of Lenexa located at 9250 Marshall Dr. During that investigation, they discovered a set of human remains inside the unit.

Lenexa police were still conducting their investigation on Wednesday afternoon. The Johnson County Crime Lab is helping them with forensic work, and numerous detectives are working the case.

How strange! This one caught my eye because my in laws live in Lenexa. I have so many questions, were the infants twins? One of the articles mentions that this man and his wife (who I'm guessing is the victim) have had 4 children removed from their care by CPS in the past, so I'm wondering if the newborns are 2 more kids that they had recently.

Dad's 2 facebook pages, both have some disturbing things posted and he was posting up until October 20th.

Also something strange I noticed, that out of all the posts JR has shared most recently, about 60+ of them total were posted in about a 15 minute time frame on just the one day, Oct 15.

Notice how he is posting the exact same things on all 3 profiles. Honestly, the guy has some mental deficit. His posts are almost like reading a middle schooler's posts. **Edit to say immature versus middle school. And there's mention of his wife in comments on his page** :thinking:

On March 27, Jessica posts on this profile and says her husband has control over that page.

June 12 post on this profile is alarming with what we know at this point. He speaks of not knowing what you have until it's gone, and does mention Jessica as being his wife of 12 yrs....He states he had to divorce her because of his morals and principles...
 
Yes but the facebook page also identifies him as SINGLE? In any case some very disturbing posts IMO

According to his posts and videos, 4 were removed by CPS. At least 2 of those were in CA. He posted that his wife was pregnant in Sept and they had a daughter with them. I don't know what state the other 2 were removed from.

I wonder where the kids are now? I wonder if the wife died from complications from delivery? But I don't know if the remains are his wife or not, because it said the remains were in such a state that sex, race, etc was not able to be determined by the detectives... sounds like just skeletal remains....

But that one rant he posted, he said his twin brother and another guy was missing, and they were trying to blame him for it... but, I haven't seen any evidence of his parents, nor siblings, so I don't know if it's even true.
 
My goodness. Mental illness is very sad. :(
 
On October 3rd he put up a photo of himself and you can see doors to storage units behind him.
 
In the first fb profile posted that seems to be under his "wife's" name someone is starting to comment on where wife is. Sounds alarming. I wonder when she was seen last.

The man police arrested for sleeping in his storage unit with his babies went in front of a judge at Johnson County Courthouse on Friday...

Today, he told the judge all the claims written in the complaint against him are false.

“I mean, none of this has even happened," Rey said.

“Like I said, it’s probably something you need to talk to your attorney about, okay?” the judge said...

“These are allegations, not that you’re guilty of the charges,” the judge explained.

“Your officers had held me from being able to even tend to my children,” Rey said.

Have you watched all his YouTube videos. Its quite sad watching the pictures in video form of his wife and kids. I don't know if he thinks there is some big conspiracy with CP's to take all his kids one by one. He seems quite articulate in some of the videos. There is even a video of his wife having an interview about CP's kidnapping his kids.
