Babcock, 23, was murdered on the night of July 3 or July 4, 2012. She was allegedly killed at Millard’s home at 5 Maple Gate Court in Etobicoke, added Code. Her body and her remains have never been found, said the judge.

Re: Smich’s Mom. I sat next to her and his sister the day AM testified in the Bosma trial. A lot of guffawing and eye rolling from both of them when AM talked about the instructions he got from MS.

Thank you for sharing! I understand they would want to believe this was all DM and that his "wingman" AM was throwing MS under the bus to help DM (there may have even been some of that going on) but at this point how could there be any doubt about MS's *willful* involvement?

I never understand why people lash out at the camera, thereby ensuring the footage is used and gets people talking. Also calling someone doing an honest job an idiot? Sure mom.

Here are AC's tweets from the day MM testified in the TB trial (April 21, 2016) in regard to the ipad:

3543 Smich used an iPad. "It was Dellen's. Dellen was going to give it to me, but Mark was like, 'Why give it to her, I want it.'" #Bosma Apr 21, 2016
3544 Occasionally she would use it, she says. Smich used it up until his arrest. #TimBosma #Bosma Apr 21, 2016
3545 Court now seeing photos of the iPad seized from Smich's home. Meneses says it was Smich's. #TimBosma #Bosma Apr 21, 2016

Ehh, I’ll never side with the media. I get that they have the right to film, it’s public property and there’s no expectation of privacy. But it is dumb to bother the family, aside from likely being an awful parent, MS’s mom didn’t do anything illegal.

IIRC from the TB trial, Mark's mom had to be restrained and removed from either the room or the house during the first search. I can't find the description of the encounter, but remember her picking something up and threatening a LE officer.

Further to the trio of phones travelling west (on Lakeshore?), it was reported that all 3 phones set out from celltower near DM's home on Maple Gate and travelled west (on Lakeshore?); then LB's phone disappeared around 'Indian Grove' (celltower) in Mississauga; then MS's phone stopped when it reached a celltower around his mom's home in Oakville; and that DM's phone continued to the tower around his farm. It makes sense in that order, here's a googlemap showing from DM's home onward:

Map here (not sure if DM followed the backroads or took the highway after dropping MS off, but presuming he had a dead body in his vehicle at the time?)

Shortly after midnight on July 4, 2012, the phones began to move. They started at a tower near Millard's home before all three moved westbound.
The data showed Millard's phone moving westbound, eventually pinging off towers near his farm near Waterloo, Ont., and his business, an aviation company, nearby. Then his phone headed back to Toronto.

Smich's phone moved westbound, eventually pinging off towers near his home in Oakville, Ont.

Babcock's phone moved west, but stopped in the middle of Mississauga, Ont.

This report suggest the trio set off together from DM's house (ws supposed to be just after midnight on July 4, 2012), travelled west, dropped off MS, continued to near DM's farm in Ayr, and then later around 11am on July 4th, LB's phone went off grid around Indian Grove in Mississauga.
Hmmmm, so ... which is it??

The mapped phone records suggest he may have picked her up from the Kipling subway not far from his house: The phones of both Babcock and Millard hit a cellphone tower near the Kipling station at about 6:30 p.m. A half hour later, their phones were both pinging off the tower near Millard’s Maple Gate home. That same eerie tandem is evident the next day as well.
According to the mapped records, the phones belonging to Smich, Millard and Babcock all began moving west on July 4. Court heard Smich’s phone eventually headed to his Oakville home while those belonging to Millard and Babcock continued to move together in a route along the QEW. Millard’s phone eventually bounced off cellphone towers near his Waterloo-area farm and his aviation company nearby before heading back to Toronto.

The Crown alleges Babcock’s body was being transported west to Millard’s farm in Ayr township where he would later take delivery of the Eliminator, a $15,000 industrial incinerator.

Babcock would never make another outgoing call or text, but her phone was still receiving them from people anxious to find out where she’d gone. And then it died.

The jury heard that shortly after 11 a.m., somewhere around Indian Grove, Mississauga, Babcock’s beloved Blackberry suddenly stopped connecting with cellphone towers along the route. The last connection to the bubbly young woman was gone.

The trial continues.

Interesting tidbit from the TB trial in regard to a photo taken of a gun on Feb14,2012 found on DM's hard drive (wasn't this right around the date when LB and CN had their catty texting spat?):

This is from AC's tweets in the TB trial on March 2, 2016:
1247 Jury has been recalled. We're back underway. #HamOnt #TimBosma #Bosma Mar 02, 2016
1248 We're now looking at photos found in the folder "DellsHard/Pictures." Millard's driver's license is one of the photos. #TimBosma #Bosma Mar 02, 2016
1249 Another picture shows a receipt for the rental of a storage unit made out to Dellen MIllard. #TimBosma #Bosma Mar 02, 2016
1250 The travel itinerary for Christina Noudga for a trip was also found as a screen capture on the computer. #TimBosma #Bosma #HamONt Mar 02, 2016
1251 Millard is leaning in and looking closely at photos taken from the computer on the screen in front of him. #HamOnt #TimBosma #Bosma Mar 02, 2016
1252 Court now seeing a closeup photo of a gun found on the computer. The metadata shows it was taken on an iPhone 4 on Feb. 14, 2012. #TimBosma Mar 02, 2016
1253 It was taken near the Millard residence, the report says. #HamOnt #Timbosma #Bosma Mar 02, 2016
1254 Someone's index finger can also be seen in the photo. #HamOnt #TimBosma #Bosma Mar 02, 2016

I don't remember anything like that... can we find a link?

It was in one of the canlii documents. I don’t think she threatened the cop, she was just hysterical.

I think it was during the initial search of her home on May 22, 2013. She was hysterical and had to be restrained. Trying to find link, probably in TB trail testimony of officers conducting the search.

Sorry if this was already posted at the time, but I hadn't seen it until now, and thought it shared info I hadn't seen before:

On March 14, 2012, police apprehended Babcock under the Mental Health Act and took her to St. Joseph’s Health Centre because she complained of hearing voices telling her that she should end her life. She told doctors of her long-standing “passive” suicidal thoughts but insisted she had no active plan.

Court has heard Babcock was eventually diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and was on medication for anxiety and depression. In April 2012, she complained her parents didn’t accept her diagnosis and wanted her to reduce her meds because she was sleeping too much.

Unable to find a job, unwilling to live at home with her parents and their rules, the University of Toronto graduate began working for Last Minute Escorts and began to rely on the kindness of strangers and friends alike.

In her many cries for help, Babcock often complained she was worthless and unloved. How sadly mistaken she was.

I did not see that medical report. She tried to get help at a few places and it looks like she may not have had follow up after they saw her , but I am not sure about that. If she kept going to new places that looks like she had no follow up and a counselor to see on a regular basis.

Still looking, but I believe you are correct, she was hysterical. I do remember mention of her grabbing something that prompted LE to remove her from the immediate area. Most likely part of the hysterical reaction to the search.

Instead of being cooperative with the police in a very serious matter she was combative? unbelievable and I think it says a lot about what type of example she was to MS. She sounds like she is a bit off her rocker, that is not a normal reaction to becoming physically aggressive, it helps to understand more about what influences MS had that contributed to his very anti-social behavior even when he was very young he was involved with the police. His father seems to have completely abandoned him and I don't think was ever at the first trial. No other family that was also followed by the photographers were that in a rage to do what she did. The family of the victim was followed by the photographers and they are under the most distress and never reacted like she did. I am sure her neighbors in Oakville are not happy she is living there, I know the neighborhood, it is a tight-knit one with a lot of young children. they probably would be happy if she moved at least that is my opinion, I could be wrong.

I think Smich was a mama's boy. He was looking after his mom around the time he was arrested and was taking her to a doctor's appointment IIRC. He was clearly a hoodlum. A mother's love is strong. JMO
