UNSOLVED WI - Milwaukee, lagoon near Mitchell Park Domes, Nov'17 - Poss ID'd

The Milwaukee Fire Department received a report of a body floating in the water near W. Pierce and S. 23rd streets about 3:30 p.m., said Acting Deputy Fire Chief Joseph Hegeman Jr.
The remains were removed from the lagoon and Milwaukee police were on the scene, Hegeman said.

On Monday, Milwaukee police said it appears the remains are that of an adult male. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office will perform an autopsy to determine a cause of death, police said.

I'm from the area and have a couple of missing persons cases I think this could potentially be. Here are some men that have vanished within two hours of Milwaukee within the last 15-ish years that could have potential connections to that city. The Mitchell Park Domes are also a big tourist destination, but the area around them not so much. Whoever did this, whether it was a suicide or homicide, would have to know the area well in order to find that lagoon.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner has tentatively identified the body as a 47-year-old man from the area who was reported missing in August of 2016. The ME is still looking for positive identification and says they will be confirming his ID through DNA testing.

The death is not suspicious.
