Richmond Police are still looking for the person responsible for stuffing a woman's body in a trash can on the city's southside.

That woman's body was discovered inside a green, city-issued super can after an employee at an auto body repair shop found the remains Tuesday evening. Police say the trash can where the body was found does not belong to the business where it was found. There are also still many questions police need answered.

...how sad :(

Prayers for Cherice and family.

There was an arrest in 2008, but no MSM since then and nothing in Virginia DOC records:

Sherman Giles, 45, was arrested Thursday by a regional fugitive task force, Richmond police spokeswoman Karla Peters said yesterday. Giles, whose last-known address was in the 1900 block of North 30th Street in Richmond, was charged with murder and violation of parole, Peters said.

Roberts, 36 and a mother of four, lived in the 1500 block of Lone Street in the Hillside Court public-housing project, a few blocks northeast of where her body was found.
