Extradition for Camera man

Is he facing felony assault charges in Florida? The article didn't say. I don't think most states generally bother requesting extradition unless the detainee is facing prison time or some serious fines. Otherwise, I'd think the expense of extradition just wouldn't be worth it. But who knows?

It is the charging state that must make the decision to extradite. Florida could tell CA that they aren't going to come get him, unless I'm mistaken. I'll be curious to see what happens.
