Police say the victim was so decomposed that they don't even know the sex of the victim or the age. However, the person who actually made the discovery believes it was the body of a young child.

Snip.....

The discovery was made in what's called Bog Creek, a marshy area just east of Kennedy Airport. Search teams were actually looking for someone else, a Long Island man who disappeared three weeks ago. Friends decided to expand their search to Queens this morning.

Snip.....

Search crews were looking for a 50 year-old East Rockaway man. His body was found not long after the body was found in the bag. Nassau Police are investigating the cause of death of the man. NYPD will investigate the unidentified body.

Not all that far from where St. Guillen's body was found. Although the various marshy areas around there appear to be favorite dumping grounds for all manner of criminals.

From April 2006:

Quashay Everett was a year old when her parents tortured her older sister, Teisha, in a Bronx apartment in a case of child abuse that shocked the city. At 15, Quashay's life ended in brutal anonymity, her body found stuffed into a black garbage bag in tall weeds near Kennedy Airport...

Quashay had left the terrifying sights of her childhood far behind and was living in a new home with adopted parents and new siblings in Queens, only, it seems, to be drawn into the dark again.

When she disappeared last May, she left behind a disturbing diary entry in a notebook stuffed under her mattress that her family said provided a hint about where she may have gone. She wrote about a boy she had met and what he had told her, said her adoptive father, Prophic Everett... The note made no mention of the boy's name or age.
