Female, possibly early teens to mid 20's, found in Santa Cruz Park. The remains had been burned. It is thought she was killed elsewhere, and dumped at the park. She was possibly a runaway or missing person.
Approx. 5'2", tall with a petite build, and long wavy hair. She was wearing a Catholic medallion necklace.

An oval face, narrow eyes and a thicket of dark wavy hair. The description could match a million faces, but Santa Cruz County sheriff's deputies are hoping that a new artist's rendering of the woman found slain and charred Saturday in a remote area will help them zero in on her identity.

snip~In addition to the sketch, investigators have released pictures of a religious medallion the victim wore around her neck and a T-shirt with the skateboard logo ``Element'' in white lettering across the chest.
The girl was 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighed 120 pounds. She had dark hair, 10 inches in length and possibly dyed, with the color being deep reddish, brown or bronze. Her hair was wavy and tied in a ponytail.

A South San Francisco man accused of killing the mother of his child, then taking her body to Greyhound Rock County Park and burning it in a Dumpster, pleaded guilty Thursday to second-degree murder.

Elvin Omar Aguilar, 37, will be sentenced July 8 to a mandatory prison term of 15 years to life, according to the District Attorney's Office...

Aguilar stabbed Fatima Fernandez, 25, in his apartment on March 17, 2006. After she died from blood loss, he drove her body to the North Coast park, doused it with accelerants and set it on fire. Her charred remains were recovered a day later, but it would take nearly two years before she was identified and Aguilar was apprehended.
