Has anyone heard any updates on these two baby girls? The family was last seen headed for Sacramento, CA 4/4/01... and they haven't been seen since. The mother's body was found 4/29/01, but the girls have vanished with out a trace.

I was doing some searches, didn't come up with much, I can't find any details on the crime scene where the mother was found, how she was killed or anything on the investigation into her death.

Kim Henson and her children Shaina Ashley Kirkpatrick, 2, and 3-month-old Shausha Latine Henson disappeared last Friday while traveling with her friend, Christine Noel Mayer, and Meyer's boyfriend, Frank Oehring.

Oehring, 28, and Mayer, 24, both of Missouri, were found shot Friday at the picnic area near Collier Seminole State Park in Naples, Fla. Police have not yet ruled if the deaths were a murder-suicide or a double homicide.

Oehring's ex-wife, Benita, told the Naples Daily News Wednesday that Oehring was a high priest and that Mayer was a priestess who followed him into satanism starting around 1994.

Frank Oehring was released from jail on $100,000 bond in February after being charged with hiring a man to kill his then-pregnant wife.

Oehring went to stay with Mayer and missed a March court date, running away to Portland instead, where the two hooked up with Henson.

Its a link from 2001 just a few days before the mothers body was found.

I hadn't heard any deatils surrounding the dissapearances, but this cult theory is new to me. I can't find any further info of whether this was a double murder or suicide homicide. If anyone can help, or knows any new details please let me know.

I can't stand the idea that these two little baby girls were just taken from their mother and dumped somewhere. I can only hope they are alive, somewhere, being cared for by someone.

I have done extensive research on these two children. I don't think they have been murdered as their mom was, but I think they are alive and well and just don't know who they really are.
Mom was killed by two of her "friends" in Nevada and left for dead. The "friends" were later found murdered also. So hard to chase after nothing......... I hope someday they do see their pictures on the internet and relize who they are.

Shausha Latine Henson and Shaina Ashley Kirkpatrick were last seen with their mother on April 4, 2001, en route to Sacramento, California. On April 29, 2001, the body of their mother was found outside of Fernley, Nevada, while the whereabouts of the two girls remain unknown.

Shaina and her younger sister, Shausha Henson, departed with their mother, Kimyala Henson, from their family's residence in Portland, Oregon on April 4, 2001 for what was supposed to be a two week vacation in British Columbia, Canada. They spent the night of April 5, 2001 at a motel in Redding, California, with Christina Mayer, a childhood friend of Kimyala's and Mayer's fiance, Frank Oehring.

Mayer and Oehring died April 20, 2001 in a murder-suicide at a rest stop in Florida. Florida law enforcement officials found Henson's wallet and credit cards in a car parked at the rest area and traced the transactions. Investigators suspect they were fraudulently signed by Mayer. The children’s car seats and luggage were missing, but investigators found a few articles of clothing and diapers in the vehicle. It was determined that Mayer and Oehring had traveled to Florida through Nevada, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi.

Kimyala Henson, 21, was found partially buried in the desert April 29, 2001. She was shot to death and left in the desert 60 miles northeast of Reno where her body was found by a motorist who had pulled off the road.

I remember this case.... Poor girls.. I think they were murdered too and possibly burried not too far from where mom was found.... That's just my gut instict of course, but I could be way off base....

Authorities believe that Mayer and Oehring traveled to Florida alone during April 2001. Motel receipts indicate that the girls were not accompanying them at the time. Shaina and Shausha's car seats have never been recovered and their birth certificates are missing. Authorities do not know if Mayer and Oehring harmed the children or sold them to other individuals. O, how sad. Those kids might have been worth money to the kidnappers, but I suspect since they killed themselves that something went wrong with the initial plan and they didn't get much money. Someone must have the kids or they would have turned up by now. At least there is some reason to think so. Boy, these cases are a never ending trail of tears, aren't they?

I noticed just now that Sausha's information has been removed from NCMEC. It was removed within the past 18 hours. Shaina's is still listed. Has anyone heard anything?

This is strange. I cannot find Sausha at NCMEC either. There is no link on Shaina's page to Sausha nor does she come up when searched.
 
Yeah, I don't know what's going on. You'd think that if she was found, there would be a news article or something. But I Googled forever and I didn't find anything. Weird.
 
I have a theory about these two children! In light of Jaycee Lee Dugards being in the headlines and we now know her abductor and a bit about his past! Phillip Garrido was arrested in Lake Tahoe,NV (1976) and at the time of his arrest, his address was 1855 Market St., Reno,Nevada which is only 38 miles from Fernley, where Kim Hensons body was found, so my guess is that it's safe to say Garrido knew these areas well. Neighbors of Garrido in Antioch,CA (where Jaycee was kept, 1554 Walnut Ave) are telling reporters that besides Jaycee and daughters living in the backyard, there were 2 younger (around 4 and 5 year olds) living with Garrido. Could it be that Garrido came across Kim and the girls in Reno, in 2001 and killed Kim and kidnapped the girls? Or he met with Oehring and Mayer? Would it seem ignorant of me to inform the FBI of my suspicions? I do believe Oehring and Mayer had something to do with Kims murder, as well, but what happened with the girls, seems like a Garrido idea!

The girls have been missing for 10 years today. :(

I think these girls may have been sold into the black adoption market and just don't know who they are. All the more reason to keep looking for them!!!
What I am hoping didn't happen, is those two crazy satanism people didn't take them for any rituals. Whatever they did with those girls, would have benefited them in the end.
