Distinguishing Characteristics: Brown wavy hair, brown eyes. Bishop's hair has reddish/auburn highlights. She has a gap between her upper front teeth. Bishop's ears are pierced. Her nickname is Kris. She is right-handed.
Clothing Description: Possibly a white shirt, a blue jean jacket, and pink sneakers.
Details of Disappearance
Bishop said goodbye to her sister and a friend, then departed from her family's residence to walk to school during the morning hours of October 19, 1994 in Columbia, Missouri. A witness observed a four-door vehicle stop along Bishop's street and watched as Bishop spoke to the male driver. Bishop and the man talked for a few moments, then she entered the car and they drove away. She never arrived at school and has not been seen again. Bishop was carrying a backpack with books in it at the time of her disappearance.
Bishop's case is classified as that of an Endangered Runaway by many agencies; the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children reclassified it to a Lost/Injured Missing Person case years after her disappearance. She may have been accompanied by a 22-year-old male in 1994. Her case remains unsolved.
