Naw, she didn't yell, scream or raise her voice - what a lady! She just beat the sh-- out of him. In the pic, it looks like she has a black eye...? She looks like she could use a makeover - I'd be happy to oblige. I dont have a license but that shouldn't matter.

How could she do this to her defenseless son?? I don't get why people adopt kids, kids whose parents usually give them up so they can have a better life, and then kill them!
 
Something really went wrong here. How can you get so angry that you kill your child? I wonder if she was fit to adopt in the first place.
 
My gosh! I feel guilty because I do sometimes raise my voice, but I'd never ever think of harming my 10 yr old. I'm sure that poor little boy had wished his mom had just yelled at him instead of beating him to death.
 
'I deserve death penalty,' mom tells police after boy found dead

The adoptive mother of a 10-year-old boy found dead in his home asked an officer for his gun so she could shoot herself after telling police she struck and killed the boy, according to court records released Tuesday.

"I deserve the death penalty for this," Vicki Lynn Hulsey, 45, said to the first officer to arrive at her Mesa home, according to records.

Hulsey was arrested Monday night on suspicion of first-degree murder and child abuse after her son, Jarod "Jerry" Hulsey, was found dead in their home in the 7200 block of East Lakeview Avenue, near Sossaman and Baseline roads. She is being held on $500,000 bond. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 13.

Another case where CPS had been there the year before, found 'nothing'.... and a year later, the kid is dead. :confused: Sick sick sick.
 
I notice she had been investigated in 2005....this poor child was probably beaten many times before she succeeded in killing him.
 
sickens me to my core......10 year olds know alot, they know mom they know they are being misstreated, what a horrible life this little guy must have had and to die at the hands of someone who supposedly rescued you and loved you....breaks my heart....sometimes I think I'm just gonna have to block this website and not visit here any more....it's just too much to take.

The picture that has emerged of a longtime Seaside woman accused of beating her adopted son to death in Arizona last month is of a woman who suffered from bouts of depression and who told acquaintances she suffered from bipolar disorder.
