Ok, didn't 2 just totally tank????

HOLLYWOOD - Sharon Stone will direct Basic Instinct 3 in Britain, the actress has revealed.

The blonde star is keen to continue the franchise--following her return as Catherine Tramell in the recently released sequel--but wants to step behind the camera next time around.

Stone, 48, says, "There's a script for the next part of the story--but I would like to direct it rather than star in it.

I heard that too Jules.. Didn't do well in the box office... I like Sharon Stone, she looks HOT...

Yup.
Opening boxoffice was 3.7 mil, with an estimated budget of between 70-90 mil.

For some reason, the scene of Stone straddling a chair reminds me of a snake unhinging its jaws.

I guess Sharon Stone is "jumping" the gun a bit, it seems the reviews of this movie are nothing but "dismal".

It is going to be a "box office flop" and I very much doubt that anyone will offer and finance the next Basic Instinct movie.

Being a member in Mensa doesn't really mean much. There's a guy on "The Apprentice" this season and he's doing poorly. The Donald has also commented on it.
