After taking the lives of two young women, the killer posed the bodies of his victims in their bathtubs.

Those morbid poses, considered the calling card or "signature" of the killer, led Houston police to suspect Edward George McGregor in the grisly slayings of Danielle L. Subjects, 28, and Mandy R. Rubin, 25, both of Houston.

I wonder how many other murders will end up being linked to him. He lived in several states over the years.

Edward George McGregor, 31, was automatically sentenced to life in prison after a jury convicted him of the 1990 murder and rape of Kim Wildman... He must serve at least 15 years before being considered for parole...

According to Assistant District Attorney Jeff Strange, Wildman called 911 on April 17, 1990, crying for help. At her home, Missouri City police officers found her conscious, but dying from multiple stab wounds.

Wildman told officers she had been attacked by someone she didn’t know before dying in the hospital the next day. The victim had been bound, raped and stabbed with a knife.

The fourth woman McGregor is suspected of killing is Edwina Barnum, 23, strangled in 1994. As far as I can tell, McGregor was never prosecuted for the other three murders.
