Some of the archives I'm listing are free, some are not, as usual you get what you pay for pretty much. The Missouri search site listed is a very good one and it is free. I went through and deleted a bunch out of my files that didn't work very well.

Please add any more sources if anyone has them.

You're Welcome Heart !!!:blowkiss: I only wish all States would do what Missouri did. One thing that's good is you can find stories on that Missouri site for all states by pressing search, then all publications, and then putting in terms such as...

Indiana search goes on.....
Florida police are searching...
man has been missing from Ohio...
Michigan last seen wearing.....
Washington boy is described as...

well, you get the point. I think all States should make these available for free.

Great resources Hollow.
I came up with an idea of sharing resources but I don't know how others would respond.
I thought maybe we could pick a bookmarking site like the one at Yahoo or http://del.icio.us/, if we set up an account and made the password available, then we could all add our resources to the site. We could then build a large database of resources for the cold cases and missing and unidentified, and we could update it as we found new sites. That way everybody could have access to the resources and it would give newbies who wanted to participate more a place to start. Also it would mean that a case wouldn't have to sit until the right person with the right resources came along.
The way it works is you enter the url of the site you want to bookmark, and add some key words to help make it searchable. I set up an acct at del.icio.us and have been using it regularly for my sites and have found it to be really helpful.

Super Idea !!! That would be wonderful !!!!

Maybe we could set up a site somewhere, and post the user name and password in the parking lot or jury room, so that it is accessible to all members, but still somewhat protected.
I really do find it to be a big help in that it is searchable, and if I ever have another computer crash I know that the info is still easily accessible to me. And it saves space on my computer.
