Winhall, Vermont - May 12, 2006
Vermont State police were on the scene at a home on North Branch Road in Winhall Friday, investigating the homicide of Renato Wieser, 27. The seasonal home is located only a couple hundred yards from the Stratton Mountain Country Club. Murder investigations don't sit lightly in the affluent Vermont ski town.
"I'm pretty scared because I live alone in the area. It's kind of strange to believe because he was beaten, I guess," said Jamie Morris who works nearby. "We heard he was tied up and beaten, but we don't know for sure if that's what happened."
