    KY - Christopher Benham, 26, Columbia, 31 May 2006

    COLUMBIA, Ky. A south-central Kentucky man whose vehicle was found abandoned nearly six weeks ago, setting off an investigation into his disappearance, turned up in his own attic, Kentucky State Police said.

    Christopher Benham had apparently been living in the attic with his wife, police said Tuesday.




    Benham was arrested Tuesday on charges of tampering with physical evidence and falsely reporting an incident. Pending since before his disappearance were charges of theft, terroristic threatening and assault.

    This is a wierd one. Did he plan to live in the attic the rest of his life?

    The wife is probably very lucky to be alive. When these people snap they usually take down the ones closest to them. His background of threats, assault indicate a downward spiral.

    Wonder if he had a life insurance policy? How did his wife react during his "unexplained disappearance"? Did she pass out flyers or something? Sounds like a scam in the making to me.

    Same here. I wonder if she will be charged with anything.
