Police are worried about the safety of a Lower Brule mother and are asking people to help them find her.

Thirty-three-year-old Vicki Eagleman hasn't been seen in the Lower Brule Community since July 27th.

She's five-foot-three, about 120 pounds with short brown hair and brown eyes.

Police say it's unusual for her to not contact family for this long. If you have any information on her whereabouts, contact the Lower Brule Police Department.

Is she Hopi? I just wondered becaue I found a message on a Hopi message board posted by a Male with the same last name. I hope she is restored to her family soon and that all goes well.

There does not yet seem to be mouch info to go on.

Family members say search crews found Vicki Eagleman's body near Medicine Creek Wednesday afternoon and that her death looks suspicious. They say she has spent time near the creek before, but would never go there alone.

Vicki Eagleman's mother, June Lefthand, says she last saw her daughter on July 27, leaving with her boyfriend, Bernard LaRoche. But LaRoche says Eagleman dropped him off and he doesn't know where she went after that...

“My daughter was a human being, she's got children and family that love her and if you knew my daughter you'd understand she's a person who would never harm anybody,” Lefthand said.

The FBI is offering a reward for info leading to arrest and conviction in Vicki's murder:
