Interesting Reading

I know...this comes from "Crime Magazine"...and I also know to take what I read there with a grain of salt, but this particular article poses some interesting theories and there are also links there to the various books written about this case.

Thank You Heavenlydaze, a lot of reading.

Here is where I agree:

PR

Modern public relations has come a long way since the days of "no comment." Today the buzz in corporate PR circles is to take the initiative, to bring the attack to the attacker. They call it "hard ball."

This is what I saw happening in the case of the disappearance of Natalie Hollowy.

Change the place, the timing, the names and there you go!

I like that one too. I link it in as a source in my posts a lot. I also like the companion piece linked at the bottom

Thank you, Nuisanceposter...I'd only partially gotten through that article (the hazzards of working in retail...darn customers keep interrupting my internet reading)!

Thanks for posting this pretty well sums it up IMO. Hey, you have really 'cool' record shop too.

I didn't know where to post this, but I suppose this falls under the category of "Interesting Reading". I've been researching the shooting of Columbine High School lately, mainly because of the amount of shootings I've been hearing about on the news, and I came across something one of the shooters, Eric Harris, wrote about JonBenet on one of his online rants. I can't post the excerpt here because of the amount of curse words, but I'll post a link. As if I didn't think this kid was messed up in the head enough...

Thank you for this post, heavenlydaze. I do wish the authors had gone more into the Ramsey/Beaver Island connection.

I had forgotten this fact:

"The strange turns of the Ramsey case began early – as early as February 1997, when National Enquirer reporter David Duffy, 58, was found dead in his Boulder hotel room. Duffy was covering the JonBenet murder. Even though Duffy's death was ruled to be from natural causes, there are persistent rumors of foul play."
