A judge said Wednesday that a 2-month-old baby will remain on life support several more days because a decision has not been made to authorize a state agency to remove her from a respirator and feeding tube.

Judith Hernandez, who was 3 weeks old when she was rushed to the Medical University of South Carolina last month, is clinically brain dead, said Dr. Anne Abel, who testified during a motions hearing held in Georgetown family court...

That poor wee thing. She never got to even start to experience life. Breaks my heart.

I hope that the pieces of excrement that did that to her get what they deserve.
 
What I don't understand is how and why her "parents" still had the right to decide what to do with her after THEY put her there to begin with!

I guess technically, the [horrible] parents lawyer could argue THEY did not actually KILL the baby, the courts did. Won't carry any weight, but in this day & age when we must protect the guilty, it's very possible they'll argue that very detail.
