WHO’S WHO IN MICHELLE YOUNG MURDER CASE

Note: Hi all. For newcomers, regulars, lurkers and for referencing, I spent the day compiling a Who's Who to double check. If I've made a mistake or as and when new info, names, dates, etc come in, please pm me and I'll enter your info in.

Felt this would be a handy One-Source Info Link without turning into a comments thread.

When more info is released and when it comes to arrests, trial etc we might add/amend etc. Please note, where I've entered "TBC" this info will be clarified or confirmed when we know more. ALL INPUT WARMLY WELCOMED.

If the thread sinks and is not required - well heck, lol, I learned a WHOLE lot myself. All following info has been collected and compiled through various news reports, independent web research and is on registered disk/CD.

CASE BACKGROUND:


AT 1:30 pm Friday 3 November, Michelle Marie Fisher Young, 29, was found bludgeoned to death, on the master bedroom floor, face down and on the floor in their leafy Birchleaf Drive home in Enchanted Oaks, Raleigh, NC. No forced entry, no sexual assault and Michelle suffered multiple blunt force trauma. Varying reports of whether or not Michelle was nude or covered with a sweat-shirt. This will be clarified as we move forward.

Michelle’s sister, Meredith told officers she’d called by on a fluke, having been asked by Jason Young via voicemail, to retrieve documents from their home. Cassidy, Michelle's toddler dau of 2 and half was alone in the house and had left a "trail of bloody footprints everywhere" and the family pet was "freaking out". It is not known where exactly in the house (or on the property) the dog was - or what the dog's name is.

Cassie can be clearly heard chatting coherently in the background and asking for a washcloth. Meredith sounded distraught at first and then gathered herself, perhaps due to 911 ops request and for Cassie's sake.

Sheriff Donnie Harrison stated this was no random crime and the community had nothing to worry about.

Michelle's husband had left the previous evening to get a head start on a business trip. Michelle had friend/s over to watch Gray's Anatomy and he was witnessed leaving. He allegedly placed a call home at 11 PM, some 30 minutes after guests left. The investigation continues.

JASON & MICHELLE – Their Romance


Michelle Marie Fisher is a ’95 grad of Sayville NY – her athletic skills as a Saville Cheerleader brought her to NC State in 96.

Jason Young was a resident assistant in the dormitory where Michelle lived her first year.

They met when Michelle Fisher and some girlfriends went to the "Have a Nice Day Cafe" for some late-night socializing. Young, a student at NCSU, and his crew had the same idea in mind and Michelle asked Jason to dance.

A romance ensued and they married in October 2003. Their faithful dog, a rescue, carried their wedding bands down the aisle of the "Long View Center", a Raleigh city chapel on Moore Square. Cassidy was born in the spring and was the "center of their universe” according to the couple’s close friend, Rhett Fussell.

The Youngs bought their Enchanted Oaks, Birchleaf Drive 2,876-square-foot home for $379,000 in May 2005, according to county property records
In May 29, 2005 (Transylvania County) Jason Young drove off a road and down a 100-foot embankment into the French Broad River with a pregnant Michelle and no other occupants in the car. Both survived the accident. Michelle lost their baby (a son) as a result of the accident. There are conflicting reports as to which year this accident took place - TBC

Michelle Young, a native of New York, was an N.C. State University 1999 graduate and senior tax consultant with Progress Energy. She was several months pregnant and expecting a baby boy at the time of her murder.

Was present and co-operative when Investigating Officer Brent David issued S.W. for evidence from Michelle Money. The hard drive seized belonged to E.S. and had pictures of MY that ES said was for the purpose of a scrapbook.

The following neighbors had been interviewed by either WRAL or News & Observer:

Tracey Pleasant, an Enchanted Oaks resident; her husband’s name is Tracy and they often walk their dog (a golden retriever named Cody) past the Young home

KNOWN COLLEAGUES

Mike Hughes: Progress Energy Spokesman:

Cynthia Moreland a technical design specialist at PE was abducted and murdered after last being seen early am 22 Aug 06. Antonio Davon Chance, 29, has been charged with her murder. There is no connection between the two murders that happened within a couple of months of one another.

We need a ONE POINT of ESTABLISHED reference.

The idea came to me after "certain' posters on the InterNet posted all sorts of stuff - AND I JUST GOT CONFUSED.

So I shut my eyes and did the above according to NEWS REPORTS and googling various related agencies ...

We can build as we go along: I am happy to be goal keeper, just tell me where I made mistakes and we'll also add as we go along.

Oh, tku, too, Sewingdeb. Should we get this as a sticky? I am more than happy for mods/posters to jump in to this first post and add links, updates and most importantly, FACTS .... We need a solid BASE to return to outside general "chatter" and "arrest" rumors!!!

(Ugh ... I squirmed when I saw the fighting at CTV yesterday: God! too many names, etc ... so I went back toi the first report at 9 this morning. What a mission, lol)

You have my contact details ... I'd hate to be away and not update this when I go to London... but I feel we need a ONE BASE - SAFE PLACE to come back to.

We don't even know if the Young's employed a maid, cleaners, etc. All of this info is ESSENTIAL in building our case.

The regular chit-chat and arguments are fantastic; but on this post, I'd like to include FACTS, KNOWN NAMES, CONFIRMED DETAILS...

We're a team! I had to track back on many so-posters threads, comments as well as the various news reports.

Jason's mother is Patricia Young. This is confirmed in one of the news reports (I think the one about stepfather)

yes, i'm glad you brought that up jilly!!!!...i was waiting for RC to get a search warrant thread going, then i was going to mention this bit of info on there....

we now know she was found on the floor & we also now know that there WAS a computer print-out by the computer...apparently this is what Meredith was suppose to retrieve for JY....i'm thinking that JY said "fax" in his voice message to Meredith & that's where the word "fax" came in....either way, i guess it doesn't matter now...oh gosh, i'm getting off track here on this thread....will wait for RC to get the SW stuff posted

Thanks, strach.... I am going to enter them. I have ONE problem. being in the Middle East, certain links (security) will not open (long story) on my laptopp. I need to c/paste from within the forum. That means that althoigh I cannot open all the links, I am able to c/paste them.

I have got the 911 tape ref from earlier posts.

So, if you bear with me, the way around this is for me to email those links to mysekf (long story) and then caprute them and post here.

Example: where I am .... we cannot directly link into all of Crime Library's stories plus some FBI Files, MySpace, YouTube (and a gazillion others...). They're banned ...

NO ways around it and the local ISP server will monitor my every move. However, I am genuine and confident enough that they will see my intentions are good and .... IF IF IF theydecide to 'vestigate me, lol... they'll see I'm "OK"

(There are absolutely ZERO nude sites let alone *advertiser censored* sites here: ZERO horror sites, ZERO ghost sites, ZERO psychic sites and no "bloody crme scene/murder" sites...)

I am only ever able to open a link posted within a forum. So .... I pm myself and then email myself lol.... So, even if it takes a while, please know I'm onto it... and getting around the Red Tape !!!
