Some additional info from the Charley Project:

Partridge left her classes at Ferris High School in Spokane, Washington early on December 4, 1974, because she felt was suffering from cramps. She was unable to find a ride and decided to walk the two miles home. She was last seen walking south on Havana Street near 37th Avenue. Partridge never arrived home and has never been heard from again. Her parents reported her missing when she failed to report for work at Lincoln Heights Theater.

Partidge's father had bought her tickets to a Beach Boys concert which took place after disappearance, and the police went to the concert to see if she would arrive there. They did not see her. It was later determined that Partridge's tickets were in fact used, but authorities were unable to find out who used them. The contents of Partridge's purse were located in the area where she was last seen on December 6, 1974, two days following her disappearance.

Partridge is not believed to have left of her own accord. She and her boyfriend were hoping to marry and were planning to select an engagement ring on the day of her disappearance. She worked for her high school newspaper and was on the school drill team. Partridge has five siblings, all younger than herself. She has formerly lived in California. Her case remains unsolved.

Taryn, is there anything you can tell us about Laurie's disappearance in addition to what was posted on the missing persons websites? Any persons of interest, or theories as to what happened?

There was a sighting of Laurie in a field with a man with a truck and another sighting 2-3 days later in the back of a car with another man.The police did things alot differently back then-and thought she ran away-Which we know she didnt. There are alot of things that havent been followed thru on and as more time passes it gets harder.Someone has to know something

Taryn, were those sightings confirmed, or did the police think they were relevant? Were both of the sightings local to the area in which she was abducted?

The First Sighting Was About The Time And Place She Would Have Been Walking And She Described Lauries Clothes She Was Wearing, and When She Saw The News That Night She Told Her Parents She Saw Her In The Field And Contacted Police.it Is In The File.

A few days later she was seen in in the back seat with a man- the car was green Vega or Pinto

I think it was the parking lot of PAY N SAVE in SPOKANE

Ted Bundy was very active at this time. It is believed that he killed a girl in Idaho around then, and Idaho is just east of Spokane.
