Officers Discover Police Gear In Man's Car
KISSIMMEE, Fla. -- A Central Florida man was arrested Thursday after police said he was impersonating an officer by communicating with motorists via a public address system that was in his car.
Walter Rey, 25, of Orlando, was charged with falsely impersonating a law enforcement officer after Kissimmee police responded to a call and discovered him in a blue Toyota on Central Boulevard using a PA system to alert drivers, authorities said.
A man told police that Rey stopped in the middle of the road and approached his car. Rey stopped the man to inform him that he changed lanes improperly, police said.
