Oldest Person Dies at 114 in Connecticut

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) -- Emma Faust Tillman, who became the world's oldest known living person last week, died at an East Hartford nursing home. She was 114.

Tillman, the daughter of former slaves, died Sunday night, said Karen Chadderton, administrator of Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Interesting story. She was quite amazing. She lived independently until she was 110, didn't need glasses and only recently began using a hearing aid.
Also she had 4 siblings who lived to be over 100.
