I was wondering about the estimates on the date of death.. I was curious if anyone has studied a case, that says the unidentified had to of died XX years but come to find out, they werent actually deceased that long??

I know this case says "may have been at the site for at least ten years" but I've wondered that before when seeing other cases..

i've been wondering... And its about EYES after death.. Some cases say its undetermined and they found the body recently.. but other cases werent found as fast but they know the eye color....Do the eyes turn white? darken? after death? I just know sometimes a john doe, and a missing person might look alot alike but the eyes might be off. One might have hazel but the other one has brown eyes

And while I'm on the eye color thing. .If someone can help clear up something.. Brown Eyes, Hazel Eyes, Green eyes.. I know most ppl think I have brown eyes and they always say "your daughter has Big Brown eyes" which they do look brown from far away but if your an inch away from our eyes they look green...... So people listed on the missing pages that have "hazel" eyes , could that possibly mean they're green or brown???

This UID also has a listing on the GBI website: http://gbi.georgia.gov/00/case_detail/0,2695,67862954_89278958_89639189,00.html.

Online search results for Ed Yomans Road turns up Ed Youmans Road instead so slight spelling discrepancy.

According to this thread I found online, the GBI has been contacted about the following potential matches in the last few years:

Jacqueline Levitz
Antoinette Marino
Madeline Babcock
Margaret Peters
Juanita Howard
Brenda Been

Apparently, Brenda Been was listed as an escaped fugitive from Florida and the GBI felt she was a strong possibility, but as of 2008 has not been ruled out as the family is not cooperating (per this thread).

I do not know if any of the submitted matches above have ever been ruled out.

This UID's profile is pretty wide. The age range is thirty years. The height range spans six inches. She is a white female with Asian or Hispanic features. And, to top it all off, her remains may have been at the location they were found for for at least ten years.

I think Carmella Maria Gutierrez's file might be another candidate.

Circumstances of Disappearance
Gutierrez relocated from Brookfield, Connecticut to Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1989. Her son told authorities that his mother planned to leave her husband sometime during 1990. Gutierrez disappeared shortly afterward and has never been heard from again.

Gutierrez may have traveled to Riverdale, Georgia with her husband in 1990. He indicated that she left the Hometown Inn hotel where they were staying at near Highway 85 with a female and hasn't been seen or heard from since. The husband has moved out of state, and his statement regarding when he last saw Carmella cannot be verified. The subjects son and former neighbor believe she is the victim of a homicide.
