AL - Man Arrested For Accessing Porn Site In A Restaurant
Good! Could he really not have waited until he was away from everyone to look at this crap? I can't believe the "investigation" lasted 6 months though.
FORT PAYNE, Ala. -- It's probably not a good idea to surf the Web for pornography while sitting in a McDonald's restaurant, but a Fort Payne police official said that's what led to the recent arrest of a Cherokee County man.
Chief Investigator David Walker said 34-year-old Glendon Scott Stansell of Leesburg was taken into custody last week following a six month investigation. Walker said it appeared that Stansell did not initiate any contact with children, but he said the incident occurred at a business where children could see the illicit material.
The investigation started after a customer filed a complaint.
Walker said computer forensic technicians in Montgomery confirmed the presence of nude images on a laptop used by Stansell.
He was charged with providing obscene materials to a minor and dissemination of obscene materials.
