PHILADELPHIA -- New evidence in the Rittenhouse rape case shows there may be more than one attacker in Philadelphia with a toe fetish, NBC 10 reported.
A woman was attacked at knifepoint, raped and robbed on June 8 on Panama Street near 17th, according to police.
Police thought it might have been the same man who targeted women in Center City beginning late last year and through January of this year.
Investigators told NBC 10 Monday that new DNA evidence is in and fluids taken from the most recent victim don't match evidence from the earlier victims.
The attacker sucked on the victim's toes, and the assumption was that the attacker was the same person who had been dubbed the 'toe sucker' from a series of seven attacks in which each case after robbing and sexually assaulting some of the women, the attacker sucked on their toes.
