SEATTLE - Police are investigating what they are calling a suspicious death after a body was found inside a house in the 2000 block of 3rd Avenue West around 3 p.m. on Thursday, according to police.
Police said the owner of the house found the body inside the rental home where former KIRO radio personality Mike Webb lived before he disappeared in April, but it is impossible to tell whether the body is that of Webb.

Marian Bagni said Seattle police informed her of the identification earlier in the day, and the The King County medical examiner's office says the death was a homicide. The cause of death has been listed as "multiple sharp force injuries."

Wait. He's been missing since April and he was just found inside a home he rented?

I'm trying to think if I'd look in crawlspaces, etc if an adult loved one was missing. (This reminds me of that missing woman that was finally found much later behind a corner entertainment center in her bedroom by the family that lived there with her.)

This sure is a strange case, but it sounds like they might have a person of interest at least.

The mentally ill man who killed former talk-show host Mike Webb with an ax in 2007 was sentenced Friday to 20 years in prison.

Scott Brian White, 29, was living at Webb's Queen Anne home in the months before Webb's body was found dismembered in the crawlspace under the house...

Prosecutors said a reduced charge was needed to resolve the case, and White pleaded guilty June 3 to second-degree murder.
