"SOLWAY (WATE) -- A 15-year-old pregnant girl, along with her boyfriend and another friend, were charged Monday with murdering her father and stepmother in Solway.
Investigators believe Andrew Bryan Mann, 21, fatally shot Terrance "Terry" McGhee, 60, and his wife, Alisa McGhee, 41, with a .32-caliber semi-automatic pistol.
Mann's pregnant 15-year-old girlfriend, Amanda McGhee, is also charged in the murders. The child she's carrying is believed to be Mann's."

KNOX COUNTY (WATE) -- A former teacher of 15-year-old Amanda McGhee, charged with two others in the planned murders of her father and stepmother, sheds some light on McGhee's issues at home.
"She was an outgoing person but she did have some emotional problems. She was real upset at her father at some points. She would get very angry with him a lot," says McGhee's former middle school teacher, who didn't want her identity revealed.
In an effort to reach out, McGhee's teacher says counselors were brought in to help.
"We tried to help her a lot, and tried get into her life and try to find things that we could do to accommodate the whole family."

"Each of the three suspects face two counts of first-degree murder.

According to Sheriff Jones, the suspects have been cooperative since their arrests Sunday night, with each of them sharing details of what the Sheriff calls a "truly bizarre" case.

"Mann is charged with shooting Terrance McGhee in the head while he slept in his bed Friday morning around 9:30 a.m." said Jones. The murder weapon was a 32-caliber automatic gun from the house.

Mann allegedly pulled the trigger but Amanda McGhee was there.

"The ultimate ringleader was Mister Mann but the daughter McGhee did cooperate in everything that happened," he said.

Their friend, 23-year-old Christopher Gordon Kirkland, came to the house. Investigators say he saw the body of Terrance McGhee and knew about the next step in the plan: killing Alisa McGhee.

Mann and McGhee left then returned to wait in the house for Alisa McGhee, Amanda's stepmother.

"When she arrived at her house around 5 o'clock, Mann forced her on the couch where he said he told her he was going to kill her," said Jones. "She was shot twice as she ran into the kitchen to get away."

Amanda McGhee, Mann, and Kirkland apparently spent the rest of the weekend going in and out of the house, periodically leaving to go to a nearby convenience store, and then returning to the scene of the murders."

A Knox County jury has found Andrew Bryan Mann, 22, guilty of two counts of first degree murder in connection with the fatal shootings of his girlfriend's parents...

Mann was sentenced to life in prison with a possibility for parole in 51 years when Mann is 73 years old.

The girl who plotted to kill her father and stepmother in 2007 at their Jolly Lane home pleaded guilty Monday to two counts of second degree murder.

Amanda Dawn McGhee was sentenced to 20 years for the death of her father, and 25 years for the death of her stepmother. She'll serve the two sentences consecutively, for a total of 45 years in prison.
