Alton police say 19-year-old Brandon Gibson was charged yesterday with involuntary manslaughter, burglary and theft.

They say Carole Brandon and Jenny J. Morgan were also charged with burglary and theft.

Madison County State's Attorney Bill Mudge says 51-year-old William J. Stobbs passed out Thursday after using drugs at a party at Brandon and Morgan's home in Alton, about 20 miles north of St. Louis. Gibson then allegedly drove Stobbs to a store parking lot and returned to the party.

Police say Gibson later returned to the car and removed several articles of clothing from Stobbs' unconscious body, causing his death from hypothermia.

Mudge says Gibson's bail was set at $555,000.
