Hi
Does any one know or have heard more on this or how long they had been out there or how many remains were found. Please let me know if you do ok?

At least one bag containing human remains was discovered on Thursday night near a busy road in Osceola County, according to officials, who said they are treating the find as a suspicious death.

Police said the human remains were found near Osceola Parkway and Boggy Creek Road by a man and his son who were driving down a dirt road at about 6 p.m. to a nearby pond to go fishing.

"Sources here on the scene are telling us that there was not just one bag of human remains but possibly multiple bags of human remains," Local 6 News reporter Louis Bolden said.

The remains were taken to the medical examiner's office for an autopsy.

Investigators told Local 6 News that they are trying to determine how long the remains were on the dirt road.

Deputies immediately sealed off the scene, and an investigation is ongoing.

There are two entrances to the area where the remains were found, officials said.

Thanks so much for posting this! I will be following this very carefully!

They have said that it is a woman and that she was "mutilated". I'm thinking it could be Susan Fast, missing from Sarasota. Stepson was seen toting trash bags. There is a separate thread about her.

Detectives are calling it a probable homicide. What we don't know yet is the age, sex or condition of the body. Those details may emerge from an autopsy set for Friday afternoon at the Orlando Medical Examiner's Office.

A second possible scene was being investigated, mid-morning Friday, a quarter-mile north at the intersection of Boggy Creek Road and the Osceola Parkway.

Detectives won't say if the victim met their end on the dirt access road or was dumped. Sheriff's officials are calling the death unusual, given the nature of the way the body was disposed.

Osceola County detectives this morning confirmed that the suspicious package found on a dirt road Thursday contained human remains.

Investigators are ruling the findings as a "suspicious death" and the medical examiner's office is scheduled to perform an autopsy later today, said sheriff's office spokeswoman Twis Lizasuain.

Human remains discovered in multiple garbage bags off a dirt road in Osceola County on Thursday were that of a woman, according to officials.

Sources told Local 6 News that the remains were not decomposed but were still fresh and that they had been next to the dirt road for only a short time.

Is this a different bag of human remains than the one being discussed on the previous thread here at WS?

Does anyone know if it may possibly be related to the serial killer that was loose around Daytona?

I placed the same links on the Jennifer Kesse thread, in case it might relate to her. Maybe that is where you saw it?

Is there a thread here about the serial killer? I must have missed it.

Also, could this tie into the missing woman from Miami? Stepha?

Interesting that they rule out two people from "high profile cases", but they don't mention Susan Fast:

quote from http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/...stinat-utility

"The woman's identity remains a mystery, Lizasuain said, but at this point, investigators believe the body is not that of missing women in two high-profile cases: Jennifer Kesse of Orlando, who was reported missing January 2006; or Brandy Hall, a Malabar Fire Department volunteer whose bloodstained truck was found last August."

If it is Susan Fast, I would think they would be able to identify her fairly quickly.

Docwho3....silly me.... I knew that! :blushing:

I guess there is no more news to report yet. Hmmm..wish they would move on this one fast!

That last article linked says she is middleaged and then goes on to say between 30 and 40.

Yeah and what does that make ME?! Ancient?! Over the hill?! They need older reporters.

How do you think I feel I just turned 22 for the 8th time. Middle aged? I don't finish my B.S. untill December I hope I make it.
