Poland - Baby Born Drunk: Blood Alcohol Six Times Legal Limit to Drive

A baby boy in Poland was born drunk.

Doctors decided to check his blood-alcohol level because his mother was drunk when she arrived to give birth.
    What they saw frightened them.

actually, its possible he will have no tolerance at all. my biological mother was so smashed she didnt even know she was in labor until i 'crowned'. i was born at a rest stop on the way to the hospital.
i have to be very careful about cough syrup, mouthwash, even vanilla flavoring can make me very sick for hours, if its not cooked into something.

if she has been drinking her whole pregnancy, she may have left him a terrible legacy. i was lucky, i only have a few problems.

that's horrible. i hope that baby is OUT of that mother's custody and that the mother will seek treatment ASAP. that baby needs to be in a good home with a family that will care for him and support him - not an alcohol addiction.

This is horrible. I'm really surprised that the baby was alive when he was born.
I doubt that this poor excuse of a mother will be allowed to take the baby home from the hospital. It wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't have fetal alcohol syndrome. That poor little thing.

The baby will face lifelong physical and neurological problems. To what degree is anyone's guess. She has ruined any chance that he had for a normal life.

not hard at all when you are a "mother" to be--- I am a drinker and a smoker-- with both my pregnancies I quit both the minute I found out there was a little one on its way- trust me when I say- If I could do it--- anyone could--
