Nutting, 20, last was seen around 2:30 a.m. on June 12, 1998 (sic), at the Rod and Gun Club south of Houston, Del.

Described as "highly intoxicated," Nutting got into a fight with his wife of three months. She drove away from the club and last saw him walking away from it.

He was never seen again.

Police investigated rumors that he had been in a fight and killed at the club after his wife left. Police dogs searched the scene but found nothing.

One person of interest in the case was cleared of involvement.

Police also received information that Nutting had been killed and his body burned, but fire department officials had no record of that ever happening, Hudson said.

Nutting was 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighted 135 pounds. He had brown hair and blue eyes.

Most likely, since he caused several more incidents that night, he was killed with a gun or knife... he must have had a problem with alcohol, maybe he should have known his limit... whatever it is, rest in peace
