Has anyone heard or read about this yet? I heard it mentioned on FOX a couple times but can't find any articles. I know they are trying to keep it on the down-low but you would think there would be something somewhere.

This is what I read yesterday, kato:

I'd love to hear the details about this one. I think if you attend one of those parties, you sort of leave yourself open to something happening.
Thanks for the article. You're right about those parties. They are WILD! I'm not suprised there haven't been more incidents considering how many people go to those parties what with all the drinking and who knows what else.
With the Celebrity factor involved, I am sure you are right. I don't believe for a minute that going to one of these parties you leave yourself open to something happening. While they might involve half naked women...they don't appear to be "wild" parties by any stretch. Hef's security is probably extremely tight and watches out for any behavior which could threaten a lawsuit for Hef or Playboy, IMO.They may be hedonistic and over-the-top but I wouldn't categorize these parties as out of control. Hef wouldn't let that occur and I'm sure security at these events are top notch.
I never used the term "wild". I do believe that by exposing your body parts in a public party venue like this, you leave yourself open to anything happening, especially sexual in nature.
This case sounds like it's not even related to the party per se, but I stand by my comment.
What body parts do you think are exposed at these parties? Do you have first-hand knowledge of this or are you just making assumptions?
At a party that is well guarded I'm pretty sure some person isn't going to go "mmmm, BOOBIES" and then jump on a woman. And in the RARE instance this might occur, security would be all over this person and they would be blacklisted from the mansion. And we all know you don't want to get blacklisted from the mansion.
eta: These parties aren't public, btw. These are highly secure parties for the well-to-do. You will not see any random joe-schmoe in here.
No, I used the term "wild" because people think that is what these parties are...rather like the "girls gone wild" videos you see advertised on tv. However, I don't believe they are free-for-alls such as it were. I think they are strictly monitored with the safety of his workers and his guests in mind.I never used the term "wild". The parties held by Hef at the Mansion are private parties and to each his own...he can darn well do what he wants at his own home. (He hasn't gotten where he is today without being intelligent, savy, and without men like our brothers, fathers, uncles, etc. buying his magazines.) He would not jeapordize his fortune by allowing anything to happen on his personal property.
While I don't suscribe, I believe in our constitutional right for Playboy to exist and I even believe it has a place in our society. Europeans have long held the standard that sex isn't a bad thing as Americans make it out to be.
In Holland, for example, if you call someone a "sexually oriented name"...they will laugh, but don't call them a "disease" because those would be fighting words! If you will notice...here...every cuss word or phrase is sexual in nature where as in Europe...they don't find it offensive.
I find sex to be a healthy, natural thing and "showing body parts" is not offensive to me in the proper context or place. The Playboy mansion is the proper place for it...so more power to them! I think Hef takes safety very seriously which is a good thing.
I am glad this incident was resolved quickly. Sounds like his staff was on their toes.
Wow, Seriously, I'm not sure how this thread digressed into constitutional rights and offensive body parts.
I don't think Hef's parties are "wild" either. In fact, I've seen the body art applied on some of the women (models? bunnies? I don't know) and I'm amazed at the art and beauty of it.
Ack. I said I was through with this thread and I am!!! lol
Do I seriously have to list the body parts exposed at Hef's parties?! Nah, I'll let you use your imagination. Or better yet, watch one of their tv shows where they blur out body parts.
LOL I don't know either, but I didn't want Hef getting a "bad rap" for his parties when he doesn't deserve it. Now as to the "girls gone wild" video guy...I think he is scum. : )
