I wonder if she could possibly be a match for the I-59 Jane Doe found in Dade County GA in December of 1988? I-59 Jane Doe was mentioned in the thread about the Greene County TN Jane Doe.

    First attempt

Ok, this is my first attempt on the UID thread. What about this UID as a potential match for Mary Jo?

I have no idea how to get the pics in here so you don't have to go to the links. Sorry about that.

The far left picture on the Doe Network gives her face a longer look (longer hair), which looks right to me.

    Case number 84-F-38

    Any thoughts? Thanks.

Tabacue your UID match to Mary Jo might get more attention on the UID subforum.

Most of those that work on UID matches are on that subforum.

I would start a thread for your UID, if there isn't already one for her, and then add Mary Jo to the post as a possible match.

They are usually very responsive. HTH. There is no reason you couldn't post that here, it's just that if you are looking for opinions the best place is there.

    Hope I made sense?

The date of disappearance has been changed, by a whole year.

    NCMC

Mary Jo's photo is shown age-progressed to 43 years. She was last seen on June 1, 1985. It was confirmed that Mary Jo was in Atlanta, Georgia, during August of 1985. She also might have traveled to Florida and Texas afterwards. Mary Jo may go by the nickname Joe. She has a scar on her left knee, a scar on her left calf, and had a noticeable tooth that slightly protrudes on the top right side of her mouth. Mary Jo may wear glasses.

This might have some potential, since we knew Mary Jo traveled west.

Both are teenagers, MJ was only ~14 so she was still growing, but DoeNetwork puts her at 4'11-5'4, and the UID at 5'1-5'3. Both have noticeably protruding incisors.

I am wondering if she could be a match to an UID found in/near Hillsborough NC off of Interstate 40 in 1990. The UID was wearing a pink sweatshirt with bunnies and was seen walking near the highway about 15 miles west of Hillsborough, near Burlington. Seems like Mary may have become a drifter for a time after she left home.
