It has declared Sept. 12 the Day of Conception and for the third year running is giving couples time off from work to procreate.

and

Russia, with one-seventh of Earth's land surface, has just 141.4 million citizens, making it one of the most sparsely settled countries in the world.

So I get time off work to have sex and live in a Country where there is virtually no one around......I'm all about that.

I live in Atlanta and it takes me an hour and a half to get home each day (30 minute drive with no traffic) so I am all over this.

Must say something about a country when the government has to tell them to have sex. Of course with so many Russian brides fleeing to their white knights here in the states maybe there aren't any women?

Well, I figure it is a wash....

Hillary Clinton is likely to be elected which will usher in a Socialist/Communist mix of government so I might as well go ahead and move.

I guess that they would have to wake the drunks up on national sex day over there in russia! :D

And who says these women even want to get pregnant? Or have sex for that matter?

Just another stupid law made by some man to control women.
Imagine all the husbands claiming that legally their wives must have sex with them on Sept 12th!!

A) The amount of money the Komrad makes determines the woman's desire to get pregnant.

HAHHA well it does not seem to stop poor guys from having sex cal!

No, I did not have that in my vows and I did not recite the "obey" part either.
I told my husband that I was not ever going to vow to "obey" anyone.
It would have been a lie and I felt it would have lessened the true meaning of my vows to include a lie.
Men typically state they promise to love, honor and cherish ... so that is what I vowed as well.

Trust me in that my husband does not need any legal standing in order to coerce me into have sex.
And if money had any play into it or us having 4 children ... He would never get any and none of our children would have been born.

The poor guy sex can be explained by both alcohol and ugly women that the rich guys won't date! :D The woman, for her part, abandoned hopes of money for aspirations that the poor guy might have a boss Nascar replica collection! ;)

Not to mention they have their own problems with too many children in orphanages. We have two friends here on the East Coast that have adopted from Russia.

I know four guys who have "imported" Russian brides. Three of them left children behind in Russia. None of them revealed their children's existence to their new American husbands until they got here and were legally wed. Two of the children eventually joined their mothers here. One of them is being cared for by one of my best friends. Her ex-husband (and father of her 3 children) married the child's Russian mother, who soon deserted her new American husband AND child and is nowhere to be found. The guy just couldn't handle it and his ex took in the boy, who had become attached to his step-sibs (and they to him). It has been one of the most selfless acts I have ever seen.
