    Tropical Storm developing in the Atlantic

    LOL-I was just looking at that on the satellite and was wondering f it was going to cause problems. I was only looking at the weather channel and of course they weren't reporting on it yet.

    wunderground is usually VERY accurate..

    When hubby has to do a controlled burn he relies on them more then any other weather site.

    Its probably going to turn into some big green glob like Floyd did a few years ago. Scared the devil out of me when I saw it on the computer.

    Here's hoping that none of us in "hurricane zones" gets hit this year.
    I am NOT in the mood for any hurricanes!

    I agree, my husband works in the building next to the weather guys here on Keesler AFB, and they said that wunderground is the place to go. They are the ones who train the hurricane hunters.

    --Actually, we need a tropical storm very badly--Lake Okeechobee is at 9.5 feet--It should be at 14 feet--A tropical storm would be perfect now if it sat on the Lake for a day or two

    Actually Peter its better if the lake is low if a storm hits.
    They partially drain it if a hurricane is going to hit to avoid a surge from busting the dam .
