    Colomom,

My guess is that she's holding another infant relative (niece, nephew, cousin). According to this article, she was married in 1998:

I think it's odd that they're releasing all of these family photos now including other family members and Madeline when she was younger. If she truly has been abducted, wouldn't it make more sense to keep the photos of her as she looks now in the public's mind so people can recognize her if they see her? It just strikes me as either a ploy to manipulate our sympathy at best or to distract us from something else at worst.
No apologies necessary ny_ this thread is open for discussion but most people just come to look. I have found confirmation of your instinct about the baby (it is "Linda's baby Ellie, Kate's goddaughter"), I will update my caption abaove. Also see: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/liv...n_page_id=1770 for more newly released pictures.

I agree, feels like someone is pushing my "sympathy" button.

~cheers and welcome to our forum!~

Thanks for the link Colomom. Seeing that photo of the apt, (2 out of 33) just really makes me wonder what they were thinking. Ground floor & shrub cover. Maybe it's just coming from a semi-urban area (outer boroughs of NYC) and having LE relatives and I'm judging too harshly, but that should've been an alarm right there. Ground floor apts. are easier to access and shrub provides cover. I spent about $150 more in rent a month on one apt. because of the 2 available, the less expensive one was ground floor with shrub cover. I always notice stuff like that and I'm extra vigilant when staying away from home if there's anything like that.

Also, that perfectly nice balcony. Why not some takeout tapas & wine there where they could keep an eye on the kids?

    Hello to Everyone,

I thought I would post a photo of David Payne for you, as he is the one 'friend' in the Tapas9 that is missing from your great thread. Viv from ForMadeleine put this together for a quick visual and we would like to add it here:

Hey, Scandi- thanks for posting these. Here's another set which shows a larger shot of Matthew Oldfield, who has gray hair.

I didn't know where to post this. I was really inspired by the prayer that Blaize posted on one of the threads. It's 4:20 am here and I'm really tired or I would find the post and link it. I'm sorry. Anyway while I've been reading and chatting here I was also playing around in Photoshop. Photoshop is like a Valium to me. It's centers me and relaxes me and it's a good way to let go of the day. Just create.

I wanted to share it with you....

Absolutely beautiful L L & S, the poem you refer to was in a post Blaize sent to me, it made me cry, I will try to find it and post it here.

That first photograph disturbs me way too far back when they would have decided that might be maddy! A set up if ever I saw one!

Maybe they had passed by the family once already...saw the child, and the turned back around to drive past them again and take pictures.

Apparently she just takes loads of pictures, why then on a phone? If she is a keen photographer surely she would use a camera? I would only use myphone if I was caught out without my camera
