Police have issued an alert for a 24-year-old North Side man who has been missing since last Wednesday.
Jose Roman, also known as Omar Rodriguez, was last seen last Wednesday, when he left his house on the 4900 block of West Oakdale Avenue, where he lives with his mother, according to an alert from Grand Central Area detectives.
Roman was last seen wearing a gray T-shirt, blue jeans and black gym shoes. He also left home without his medication for psychosis, according to the alert.
He was recently a patient at Heritage Nursing Home, 5888 N. Ridge Ave., and is known to frequent the area around the nursing home in the West Rogers Park neighborhood.
Roman has a birthmark on his right cheek and a scar on his right forearm. He is 5-feet 9-inches tall and about 220 pounds, with short black hair.
If anyone sees him or has any information regarding his whereabouts, police ask that they call Grand Central Area detectives, (312) 746-8365.
