This one though, Dingo is a Panda Bear. I don't know what it's called where people think they are animals and dress up in costume to meet others. This dude is one of those people. It's sickening. It's always sickening.

Mr. Ward, a former police dispatcher, police officer and a deputy sheriff in Crawfordville and Taliaferro County, is being held in the McDuffie County Law Enforcement Center. Taliaferro County Sheriff Mark Richards confirmed that Mr. Ward had worked as a law enforcement officer just a few months before leaving in 2001.
"He supposedly wanted to pursue a teaching career," Sheriff Richards said.
Mr. Ward's latest employment status was working as a night stock clerk at Wal-Mart in Thomson, according to jail records on file with the McDuffie County Sheriff's Department.
Since the case remains under joint investigation by the GBI and FBI, few details have been made public.
Authorities say they received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in Florida. That tip was forwarded to the Georgia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force - a multijurisdictional task force that investigates and prosecutes individuals who use the Internet to exploit children. Thank YOU so much Taximom. Although now I wonder if he is the Panda Bear?Either way, that is plain frightening. Note to say nothing wrong with people who enjoy pretending to be furry animals. I just figured that would be a way to get to children dressed up in a costume and all. Thank you again TM.

A furry! (Fetishist.) Furry fandom, furry sexuality, second link in this sentence not safe for work. These are often unstable, drama ho types, be wary of this type, and "otherkin" as well.
 
I recently heard about "furries" and they are everywhere now. Or maybe they were before and I just didn't get it! I just saw a couple on the Tori and Dean "Inn Love" show.

I have no clue what a "Panda" is, but I'm sure I'll find out soon.

It's definitely wrong to use this to attract and abuse children though.

It means the creature he feels he is is a Panda bear. Some are foxes, some are lions or other big cats, others are horses etc. (Foxes, rabbits, and cats seem to be popular, I think zebras are too.) You think that's bad, wait till you find the people who love dolphins in "that way". The artwork they make expressing their attraction to dolphins and whales is DISTURBING! They want a randy (horny) dolphin to have it's way with them. *WIDE EYES*

ETA: Also, for the record, people who are into "cosplay" aren't necessarily furries either.

Well now, a playful swat exchanged between consenting adults is one thing. But when the interest begins to eat up the person's time and thoughts until it consumes them, and causes havoc in their life and the lives of those around them, it is a problem. When you can't have fun without your "aid/prop" whatever it may be, there is a problem. (That goes for women who can't "O" without a vibrator's aid also, IMO. :twocents: )

Not all heterosexuals are pedophiles either, just the real sick ones. ;) A person can be sick in more than one way. Most furries are manipulative drama hos, yes but they want another consenting adult to have fun with. (I've peeked in at one of their message boards, infighting and fueds over percieved slights GALORE!)

Ah, and I believe there is a branch or cousin of the furry fetishism called "plushies" which is what that guy might be? How did he phrase it? I'm wondering if he wasn't a furry, and also a plushie, but maybe not.

Good question, and at this point hard to tell. I wouldn't be surprised if he were both a furrie and a pedophile, who maybe was molested as a child and that is part of what caused his "kinks".
