KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia: Malaysian authorities were searching Wednesday for the parents and the killer of an unidentified child, whose naked body was found in a sports bag left outside a shop in a crime that has outraged the nation.
Local newspapers published pictures of the girl's bruised face as police appealed to the public to come forward with information about her identity or about the crime, which has sent shock waves because of its gruesome nature.

In the murder case of Nurin Jazlin, a CCTV captured a motorcyclist dropping off a bag containing her remains in front of a shoplot but the footage was poor.

It was up to CyberSecurity to enhance the video but it could do little as the quality was beyond recovery. It even tried extracting multiple still images from the video but was unable to clearly identify the facial features, number plate or other useful information.

Malaysia has finally caught up with countries like the United States, United Kingdom, South Korea and Australia in taking the first step towards creating a registry for child sex offenders nearly 9 years after the horrific sexual torture and murder of 8-year-old Nurin Jazlin Jazimin.

The 8-year-old’s body was found stuffed in a gym bag a month after her abduction... [H]er murder remains unsolved.

Photofits of a man that said to be a local,that have connection with the murder.
"The man is aged between 35 and 40, 168cm in height and has fair complexion. The man went to housing areas in Bangsar, enquiring about renting a room for him and his daughter.

"He approached numerous house owners several times around the time Nurin Jazlin went missing," Federal CID director Comm Datuk Christopher Wan Soo Kee.
