Police said they have gone to the house she shares with Morgan before for domestic violence calls. Officers looked around the house and found clues that caused concern.

"There was no note, but yes there appeared to be a struggle," said La Vergne Police Lt. Stace Thompson. "But I don't want to go into the specifics of what we saw in the house."

Police found another clue from a surveillance camera at a Bank of America branch in Smyrna. The video shows a picture of a man using Sisounong's ATM card the day after she disappeared.

"I believe she probably didn't know this fellow, but other people in her life may have known this fellow," Thompson said.

La Vergne police said the man who used Sisounong's ATM card was also driving her car. It's a 2003 Infiniti G-35 sedan, with Tennessee tag 123 RCF.

There is a possible break in the case of a missing LaVergne woman. Police believe Nikki Sisounong's common law husband knows a lot more about the case than he's telling.

Mario Morgan was taken into custody Friday night. Police fear foul play is involved in this case but, Morgan was taken into custody only for giving false statements to police.

Investigators are using cadaver dogs to search a pocket of Long Hunter State Park in Wilson County Monday afternoon for clues in the disappearance of a LaVergne woman.

Nikki Sisounong, a 34-year-old mother of two, hasn't been seen since October 31 when she was supposed to take her two-year-old daughter trick-or-treating.

Police in LaVergne said foul play may be involved.

Late Friday night, police arrested Mario Morgan, Sisounong’s former live-in boyfriend of six years, for giving police false information.

He has since been charged with obstruction of justice.

Thanks for the update, hoppy. I hope there's some type of surveillance tape from the airport. I guess she could have left town, but I'm thinking the boyfriend that used her car and ATM probably did away with her.

While searching for the missing Bouaphanh “Nikki” Sisounong, investigators have found the remains of a woman— but they don't know yet if they are hers.

Lt. Stace Thompson of the La Vergne Police Department confirmed that human remains were found about 9 a.m. this morning, and while they are believed to be those of a woman, they do not think they are those of Sisounong, who has been missing since Oct. 31.

Thanks for the update, hoppy. I hope there's some type of surveillance tape from the airport. I guess she could have left town, but I'm thinking the boyfriend that used her car and ATM probably did away with her.

News articles I didn't post said they have located and identified the driver of the car. It was not her boyfriend. The driver has been cleared. He was driving a car similar to Nikki's. Additional evidence from the bank cleared him.

They identified a new person of interest after they received the correct ATM video.

...police have investigated different leads.

They released images from surveillance video from a bank ATM in Smyrna.

The pictures allegedly showed a man using her ATM card to withdraw money.

The first clip was wrong, due to a mistake by the bank, but now police have the right clip.

Police have identified the person using the card and driving the Nikki Sisounong's car.

These new developments confirm that the first man shown in the ATM surveillance video didn't have anything to with her disappearance.

The video showed Thaisand Mannorind using the machine.

The bank released his photo, thinking he may have used her card.

La Vergne Police Chief Ted Boyd said police had their doubts and asked the bank to double check the video.

"We talked to the bank yesterday and after double checking it was not him," Boyd said. "It was the wrong times we looked at."

Police said Mannorind was always very cooperative and answered all of their questions.

This led them to look deeper and that's when they discovered the bank released the wrong video.

Sisounong's son Jeffrey Sisounong said his mother's boyfriend Mario Morgan is in the new video.

He said this is what detectives told him.

Authorities found Sisounong's body late Tuesday night off Interstate 24 at exit 8 in Clarksville.

"We have found a decomposed body that we believe to be that of Nikki Sisounong, 34," Boyd said. Sisounong's live-in boyfriend, Mario Morgan, has confessed to the crime, Boyd noted, stating that a positive identification will depend on the Medical Examiner's testing.

and

Bank of America surveillance tape showed Morgan, driving Sisounong's car, withdrawing $500 from her account. He was also seen at the Nashville International Airport, dropping off her car, where it was later found.

Morgan was caught on tape using Sisounong's car at the airport and also at an ATM after her disappearance.
