when you really have no more to say about the suspect…try his attorney

On May 8, 2001 the Administrator filed a one-count complaint against Respondent Joel Alan Brodsky alleging that he forged a signature on bank forms in order to withdraw client funds from the bank, falsely endorsed a cashier’s check issued by the bank, failed to deposit the proceeds in a separate identifiable trust account and kept the funds for his own purposes. He was charged with the following misconduct:

conversion;

failure to deposit and maintain client funds in a separate identifiable trust account in violation of Rule 1.15(a) and 1.15(d) of the Illinois Rules of Professional Conduct;

committing a criminal act that reflects adversely on the lawyer’s honesty, trustworthiness or fitness as a lawyer by committing the

PAGE 2:

crime of forgery in violation of 720 ILCS 5/17-3 in violation of Rule 8.4(a)(3);

conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation in violation of Rule 8.4(a)(4);

conduct which tends to defeat the administration of justice or bring the courts or legal profession into disrepute in violation of Supreme Court Rule 771.

he was only suspended 3 months for this…have fun, bloggers

Good info Jaded. I just posted on another thread that there must not have been any good takers from Drews plea for an attorney. That Drew must have found this one at the local Bolingbrook strip mall. Located in between the tanning salon and the dollar store.

You get what you pay for they say. LOL He stated in an interview that he and JB had made a deal.

If I were in DP's shoes, I certainly would not want an attorney who had previous disciplinary charges of forgery and theft. I looked up the cases that he cites on his firm profile and only one of them is a criminal matter. The rest were civil.

Looks like DP has retained a great attorney.........NOT!

Translation-Drew has something over him.

--->>>Funny, lol. I posted somewhere else on this case, that the ML interview looked like we have Pete and a Re Pete type of men here. Bout the same age, bout the same look, and who knows what else is similar.

Wonder HOW DP did 'select' Mr. B? Are there no attorneys whose names start with the letter A in the phone book DP used?

My suspicious nerve thinks he did not go down the list very far, and that his hands were possibly shaking.

.

I can't help but wonder what the wonder lawyer did when Drew couldn't say a word to ML / yet broke his azz to get home for the People mag shoot? Plus outside talking to all the media?

I'd hope the Chicagosun or whoever took the pix of him making faces at the camera would put it on the front page. LOL That would sure show DP's mentality.

--->>>B was probably busy googling on a laptop, too busy to notice this ODD behavior.

Still trying to get up to speed on all of this. Someone help me out here, Is Mr. JAB a Bolingbrook IL atty, er is he from a far distant land? Lin Wood was probably too expensive.
