The search for a 30-year-old Kingston man, who went missing the day before Thanksgiving, continued yesterday as cops, friends and family searched the city.

Reilly had been drinking before he argued with a female friend about 4:30 a.m., said his cousin, April Hargrove.
Reilly set off on foot. The friend got in her car and went to look for him, but he was gone. She last saw Reilly on Broadway near Abeel Street, Hargrove said.
Reilly is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds and has short, brown hair. When he was last seen, he was wearing blue jeans, sneakers and a blue, zippered jacket with an argyle print on the sleeve He has a large scar on his right forearm.

Personal items found
A Kingston man remains missing though some of his personal belongings were found in the Rondout Creek, city police Lt. Detective Timothy Matthews said.
Matthews said some of David Michael Reilly's personal belongings, including a hat, were found on the Connelly side of the creek Sunday. He said divers continued the search on Monday for the man who has been missing since Wednesday. Matthews added, though, that he did not believe searchers would continue to dive but would instead search the creek by boat. He said Ulster County and Dutchess County sheriff's divers were in the water for approximately six hours Monday and there were some problems with hypothermia.

I wonder if the personal items that were found were items he had on him that night. I'm assuming they were.

Missing since Thanksgiving, man found dead
July 24, 2008
"Initial autopsy reports Wednesday identified the body found near a wooded area off Terry Lane in East Kingston as Reilly. A boater contacted police at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday saying he'd seen a body on the shore in the Town of Ulster. Reilly had been missing since November.
Reilly, of Kingston, had been drinking with friends at Pier 23 on Broadway the day before Thanksgiving. Early the next morning, he and friends tried to hail a cab, but Reilly was too intoxicated to communicate with the driver, who drove off. An argument with a female friend ensued and Reilly walked away alone at about 4:30 a.m."
