CA - Stephan Doyle, 41, Hayward, Dec 2007
A popular Sunol man has been missing since early Friday, and his friends are concerned his disappearance may involve foul play.
Stephan Doyle, 41, was last seen working around midnight at a software company near Arf Avenue and Industrial Boulevard in Hayward. The area, near the Union Pacific Railroad tracks and Highway 92, was described by a co-worker as "seedy."
At 2 a.m., another employee went to talk to Doyle and found he was gone, although his car remained.
Doyle has blonde hair and blue eyes, is 5-foot-11 and weighs about 165 pounds. He sometimes wears prescription eyeglasses. He is believed to have been wearing blue jeans and a white shirt when last seen.
Before he disappeared, he was getting decorations ready for a company Christmas party, and may have gone outside to collect branches or other decorations, said Neil Davies, Doyle's domestic partner and co-worker for 20 years.

Investigators in Hayward found the body of 41-year-old Sunol resident Stephan Doyle on Wednesday in a warehouse utility room, police said Thursday.
The west Hayward warehouse is near the software company where Doyle worked, where he was last seen around midnight on Nov. 30, 2007.
"There was no evidence of foul play, but it appears he had been there some time," said Hayward police Sgt. Jason Martinez.
