NY - Jason Kosinski, 20, Mastic Beach, 12 March 2004

    Another "vanished, without a trace".....
I found this while "googling" for Vinessa. Jason had been out at a favorite bar drinking, trying to forget about the tragic loss of his ex-girlfriend who was killed in a car crash the previous day.

I hope this isn't already posted somewhere. I looked, but I don't always see! LOL

Edited to add: this happened in the same area as the Vinessa Hoera disappearance.

Hampton Bays, N.Y. -- A body floating in Shinnecock Bay is that of 20-year-old- Jason Kocinski. The family of the Mastic Beach man said that is was their son pulled from the water at 8 a.m. Saturday just northeast of the Ponquogue Bridge. A fisherman saw the body and called the Coast Guard.

Southampton Town police say a positive identification will be made by the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.

Kocinski was reported missing from Brazil's Nightclub on Mar. 6 in Hampton Bays. He had done there with friends to get his mind off a former girlfriend who was killed in a car crash.
